How I Survived Colledge

I remember the first time I left home for college. I felt a sense of freedom and independence that I have been waiting for my entire life. Week one was great there were lots of parties going on and lots of hot women running around being crazy. I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
Week Two I was in the grove going to class surviving the parties but running out of money. My parents thought they had given me enough money to last me a semester. Not, week two I had blown all of the money they had given and was a little in debt for things I had acquired on credit, yea on credit.
Unfortunately it seems college was like everything else in life it took money to survive. When you’re young you want to have a fun and enjoy life a little. Well, you still have to eat and buy those everyday essentials to survive. I was forced to get part time jobs at night just to eat and pay my bills.
Well this is not what I envisioned college would be like. It wasn’t girls gone wild ever night of the week like I had thought it would be. I tried to find a part time job in a pizza joint; I figured that I could at least eat every now and then. I applied for a waiter job but ended up being a dish washer. If you have never been a dish washer take my advices don’t. There are no tips and the waiters don’t always share what they take in. It is a nasty job scrapping plates and picking up after people.
I felt like I was back home picking up after my brothers and sisters. I hit a new low in my college experience. What was I missing? The rich kids were driving around in there nice cars and I was taking the bus. I had no time to study and no time for parties. Which let’s face it, that’s why I went to college in the first place.
I needed away out of my hell that I was living. Feeling sorry for myself I started search the internet in a coffee shop I stumbled on a free trial for vitamins. Well I had never taken vitamins before but I figured I could use them based on what I was eating and they were a free trial that I would cancel anyway.
I remember when the vitamins were delivered. I was on my way to class and took the small box to class with me. While in class one of my class mates said he took those same vitamins. I said really, how much did you pay for them. When he told me 40 dollars I jokingly said oh yea, I will sell them to you for 20.
Well he reached in his pocket and pulled out a 20 dollar bill that looked like it had been run over by a truck. But it was a 20 dollar bill and I was envisioning what I was going to have for dinner that night. Later that night sitting in my favorite coffee shop eating my Italian Panini sandwich it dawned on me.
What other free trails are out there and can I make money on them selling them at school. I found a makeup free trial, did a little research on what it was worth. Yes you guessed it; I sighed up for it and sold it the day it was delivered for 45 dollars. That is how much I made after taxes working at a pizza joint.
Laying in bed that night I came up with a great idea, why not get the names and addresses of class mates and have all of these products delivered to them for a fee. I was in hog heaven making 250 dollars a week. I was back in the game, going to parties hanging with all the hot women that I was hoping to meet in college.
Yes I was living the dream, I have to admit I did use a lot of the products myself what a nice perk. The biggest challenge was remembering to unenroll the people I signed up that did not want the product indefinitely. After weeks of thinking about how to reduce my work load at school and my new found money tree I came up with a better mouse trap.
I am still using that mouse trap or money tree today. I am out of college sitting here with a wonderful liberal arts degree. Yea you heard me liberal arts. Just Google that for jobs, trust me you find any. So now I work from home marketing free trials for and referrals for companies that pay me for every customer I send their way regardless if they buy anything or not.
Also I can say is now I wish I had of taken marketing in college instead of liberal arts. But who knows the hang with hot girls was probably my biggest motivation anyway and necessity really is the mother of invention. If you in college hang in there and remember use your lemons to make lemon aid.
